About

As an alumni of Wimbledon School of Art, Jamie has over 30 years of professional experience in the world of theatre, film and television. He has designed a wide range of disciplines from ballet and opera to musical theatre and pantomimes.

He is CEO and resident designer at Attle Costumiers Ltd; A warehouse with over 50,000 items, specialising in 1950-2000’s vintage garments, based in Surrey.

Jamie’s inspiration comes from cinema, history, architecture, and especially fabrics & textiles (which he is addicted to buying…).

He embraces new technology to expand the possibilities within the realm of costume and set design.

As an eco-conscious designer, Jamie is always keen to up-cycle when the possibility arises.

In addition, he is a highly skilled design interpreter and pattern cutter having made costumes, with his team, for many West End shows including Les Miserable, The Lion King (UK & Europe), Dirty Dancing, Shrek, Priscilla, and many others including ENO, ENB, ROH, RSC and the NT.
